Set-up row: P5, PM, K to end of row.

Row 1 (RS): K to marker, work row 1 of Leaf Lace Pattern.

Row 2: Work row 2 of Leaf Lace Pattern, K to end of row.

Continue in pattern as established, working garter st and Leaf Lace.

At the same time, at end of row 6 (6, 12, 12), SHAPE ARMHOLE: CO 2 sts at beg of next 4 RS rows, then CO 24 (24, 28, 28) sts at beg of next RS row — 80 (80, 88, 88) sts in garter st.

Work even through row 40 (50, 58, 66). **

Shape Back Neck
Starting at row 41 (51, 59, 67) dec 1 st at beg of every RS row 4 times — 76 (76, 84, 84) sts in garter st. Work even for 32 rows. Inc 1 st at beg of every RS row 4 times. Work even through row 110 (128, 140, 158).

Shape Armhole
BO 24 (24, 28, 28) sts at beg of next RS row, then BO 2 sts at beg of next 4 RS rows — 48 (48, 52, 52) sts in garter st. Work even through row 126 (144, 162, 180). BO.

Front

Work same as for back through **.

Shape Front Neck
Starting at row 41 (51, 59, 67) dec 1 st at beg of every RS row 8 times — 72 (72, 80 80) sts in garter st. Work even for 16 rows. Inc 1 st at beg of every RS row 8 times. Complete same as for back.

Sleeves

CO 38 (38, 42, 42) sts. Working in garter st, inc 1 st at beg and end of every 12th (10th, 10th, 8th) row 9 (11, 11, 13) times — 56 (60, 64, 68) sts. Work even until piece measures 17" (17", 18", 18") or desired length to underarm.

BO 4 sts at beg of next 2 rows, then dec 1 st at beg and end of every RS row 21 (21, 24, 24) times. BO rem 14 (18, 16, 20) sts.

Collar

CO 26 sts.

Set-up row: P5, PM, K to end of row.

Row 1 (RS): K to marker, work row 1 of Leaf Lace Pattern.

Row 2: Work row 2 of Leaf Lace Pattern, K to end of row.

Work in pattern as established through row 128 (7 repeats of Leaf Lace Pattern). BO.

Finishing

Sew Front to Back at shoulders.

Sew CO row of Collar to BO row. Placing Collar seam at center back, and with RS of Collar facing inside, sew Collar to neck opening. RS of Collar will be turned to outside when worn.

Sew sleeves to armholes.

Sew side and sleeve seams.

Weave in ends and block to finished measurements.
