With RS facing, beg where the buttonhole band joins the front, pick up and K 27 (27, 29, 29, 31) sts along right front neck edge, 27 (27, 29, 29, 31) along back neck, and 27 (27, 29, 29, 31) sts along left front neck edge, ending where the button band joins the front — 81 (81, 87, 87, 93) sts.

Row 1: P2, K to last 2 sts, P2.

Row 2: K2, P to last 2 sts, K2.

Rep these two rows until collar measures 2½", ending with row 2.

Next row: P

BO loosely in K.

Sew sleeves to armholes. Sew side and sleeve seams. Weave in ends. Sew buttons opposite buttonholes. Block to finished measurements.
